Karachi goes digital
25 Feb 2016
When the Karachi Cafe decided to update the look of it’s menu recently, the owner approached Hydro Media to install digital menu boards. The cafe, located in the upmarket Auckland suburb of St Heliers, wanted to improve the way it’s menu was being displayed to customers.
Hydro Media provided a package including 55″ LG display screens, media players, mounting brackets, and installation. We also designed and created the menu layout, which is not only a convenience, but also makes the overall solution more cost-effective. The new digital menu boards replace an old lightbox and now gives the cafe owner the ability to easily update the cafe’s menu items, images, and pricing.
The efficiency of using digital menu boards allows for changes to be made to the menu at any time, and eliminates the requirement and cost of printing. The digital screens also create a bigger impact to customers and attract more attention than static menu boards.
