Digital signage keeps customers in The Loop

Passengers arriving into Auckland’s International Airport are greeted with a recently refurbished arrivals store at The Loop Duty Free.

Hydro Media was awarded the contract of providing a full digital signage solution for the store fit-out which includes 40 of LG’s WebOS display screens along with mounting fixtures and user software – enabling staff at head office to update and manage all of the screens remotely.

The project showcases a range of digital signage screen sizes from 32″ to 65″ mounted onto walls and into floor display units, in both landscape and portrait orientation.  The Loop have cleverly and creatively designed a concept of installing a large number of the digital screens within the product display units, and the eye-catching promotions have drawn in customers for increased sales of those products.

The addition of digital screens at the arrivals duty free store enables specials to be displayed quickly and efficiently, and reduces the cost of printing posters.
