Caltex promotes food offering with digital signage

A number of Caltex service stations throughout New Zealand are receiving a technology boost with the installation of digital signage from Hydro Media. The nation-wide deployment is part of the Food Programme implemented into various Caltex Fix sites which offers barista coffee, a full selection of bakery food, and a range of hot pies from Jesters. Fix is a national brand currently operating within 119 Caltex locations.
Two digital screens are being installed into the store at each service station and are used to promote the food and beverage offerings to customers, resulting in an upswing in sales. Hydro Media is providing the full solution including all hardware, software, installation, and network management. The commercial-grade display screens are LG WebOS models providing for direct software integration (to eliminate external media players), as well as 24/7 usage.
The digital signage network throughout the various Caltex stations will continue to grow over with approximately 60 sites due for completion by mid-2018.
